For the second time in a year, a unique display of street art supporting Sen. Ted Cruz has been spotted on the streets of California. The latest ad hoc art show features the Republican presidential candidate as a superhero dubbed ‘Liberator.’
His catchphrase informs passersby that he doesn’t “work for the party bosses in Washington.”
According to a statement by the group responsible for the display, similarities between Cruz and popular superheroes are apparent:
Cruz has the mild-mannered appearance of Peter Parker or a Clark Kent, but when push comes to shove he has suited up and fought fearlessly for liberty.
The campaign comes months after another street artist, Sabo, posted images of Cruz as a tattooed smoker engaging in his “‘Blacklisted & Loving It’ All American Tour.”
