Online Bully Succeeds in Silencing Young Conservative Commentator

C.J. Pearson is a preteen conservative who has already amassed an impressive following after releasing several videos on a variety of topics. According to recent reports, Pearson’s reach has apparently extended to at least one social media user determined to silence him. He explained:

I had a horribly rough night on Twitter after a woman not only threatened to sue me for expressing my opinions but threatened my family. At this point, I’ve decided that it’s best for me to take a step back and evaluate all of my options before continuing down this path.

Pearson has been quiet across social media in recent days; however, his Facebook page does contain screen shots of some of the aforementioned threatening tweets.

According to a Facebook message posted on Pearson’s behalf, he will address the situation later this week.

Though his Facebook page remains bereft of any comment from Pearson himself, it has been populated with dozens of encouraging posts.

“We still have freedom of speech,” wrote one supporter, “you need to remember that is what America is about. You have caught the attention of so many with your wise and intelligent thoughts, we see hope when someone as young as you can speak with wisdom far beyond his years. God bless you young man, you are precisely the type of young leader we need in America.”
