Three masked subjects reportedly entered a Houston Super K this week as a getaway driver waited in the parking lot. As the armed trio began pistol whipping a clerk, the store owner’s brother pulled out his own gun and fatally shot two of the suspects.
Confirming the idiom that no honor exists among thieves, the two uninjured suspects reportedly ditched their wounded accomplices at a nearby apartment complex. Both later died at a local hospital.
The shooter, Dien Tu, said the store has been robbed multiple times in the past – including once earlier this month:
We got robbed from 12 days ago so we think maybe they come back.
His brother, Alden, confirmed that his is a dangerous line of work, concluding that “everybody have guns when they are in the store.”
