According to several local reports, struggling Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton attracted a five-figure crowd during a recent campaign stop in Florida. Multiple outlets put the attendance at roughly 30,000 — a figure that would make those familiar with the venue scoff.
In fact, the event referenced in these reports took place in a high school auditorium with a maximum occupancy of just 1,000.
The actual crowd was around 700, though even that figure is misleading. Instead of packing the auditorium with supporters, local kids were transported to the event to fill in the numerous seating gaps.
