Stopping to mingle with supporters at a gun range in New Hampshire this week, Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz encountered two left-wing activists determined to express their opposition to firearms.
“It’s just weird,” one young man said upon taking the stage alongside Cruz. “Why is everyone so excited about guns?”
Cruz addressed the protester, suggesting he is “a little bit confused” and encouraging him to take a seat in the crowd.

After the first heckler was escorted off stage, another man began to interject his opposition to the candidate’s message.
“This is not your stage,” Cruz repeated with a laugh.
“Boy,” he concluded before returning to his previous thoughts, “it’s almost like the Bernie Sanders guys are scared!”
