In the wake of her speech during the recent Women’s March in D.C., pop star Madonna has faced serious backlash.
In what she later called a “metaphor,” the 58-year-old star told protesters Saturday that she has “thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House” since the election of President Donald Trump.
At least one radio station is taking action against her with what General Manager Terry Thomas said amounts to a “matter of patriotism.”
KTTY, a Texarkana, Texas, station, will no longer be playing any Madonna songs.
Thomas concluded it “feels wrong” to pay the singer royalties when she “has shown un-American sentiments.”
