According to recent reports, a Florida trainer has had his license revoked after a dozen racing dogs in his care tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs — namely cocaine.

Local investigations into the Florida greyhound racing circuit revealed 18 cases of dogs testing positive for the drug within a four-month period. Twelve of those animals were being trained by Charles McClellan.

The greyhounds had competed in races at Orange Park’s BestBet track, where the winner of each race along with a randomly selected competitor are given a drug test following each race.
