Just in time for Oktoberfest, a German waiter recently broke his own record by carrying a staggering load of beer steins in his hands.

Oliver Struempfel, who set the previous record by carrying 25 large mugs in 2014, attempted to best that effort with a haul of 31. While two steins broke at the end of his run, his new record stands at 29 vessels — or more than 150 pounds of beer.

The 45-year-old said he has been training at the gym since February in anticipation of his short journey.

“When I think about it, it’s 200 hours for about 40 seconds of walking,” Struepfel said.
