A driver and passenger in Jim Thorpe, Pa., narrowly escaped injury recently when the vehicle they were in crept onto the tracks as a steam engine approached.

Witnesses looked on, including at least one with a camera, as the train clipped the car and knocked it into a utility pole.

While the car’s occupants were shaken, if not hurt, from the incident, passengers aboard the train reportedly said they did not even feel the impact.
