A video recorded in Pembroke Pines, Fla., this week shows a four- to five-foot long alligator lurking near the spot students were being dropped of for school at Somerset Academy.

No one was injured, but the animal reportedly became agitated and attempted to bite the golf cart school staff members were riding when they attempted to corral it.

The alligator was ultimately removed by a professional and officials began to investigate how it was able to gain access to the fenced-in school grounds.
