A Florida man was arrested after police say he admitted punching an automated teller machine last month.

As USA Today reported, 23-year-old Michael Joseph Oleksik called a Wells Fargo branch in Cocoa to confess and apologize, claiming the machine was giving him too much money and he grew frustrated. He was reportedly running late for work and started attacking the ATM’s touchscreen, causing more than $5,000 in damage.

The bank chose to press charges against Oleksik, who was arrested on suspicion of criminal mischief.
